About Adrienne
Ms. Lombard, a native of South Central Los Angeles, is a proud graduate of the Los Angeles public school system and California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management with a focus on Restaurants. While at Cal Poly, she joined the esteemed Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.​

In 2019, the inspiration for a children's book struck Ms. Lombard. With the onset of COVID-19 altering daily life, she empathized with the elementary school students in her community who had to adapt to remote learning. This led her to reflect on her own elementary school experiences, the dedicated teachers she had, and the engaging school projects that shaped her childhood. Motivated to ensure that every child had access to enriching educational experiences, regardless of their learning environment, she conceived "Chelsey Chip For President."
What began as "Chelsey Chip For President" has now blossomed into a series of children's books. Currently, two books tailored for 3rd to 5th-grade readers are available, with a third book in the works for younger readers aged zero to five. Chelsey Chip embodies the magic that can ignite a love for learning in every elementary student, regardless of the classroom setting.
